LG Opens New Home Appliance Plant in Russia

Korean LG has recently announced that its US$150 home appliance plant in Ruza, Russia, has completed construction. This plant is expected to churn out all kind of home appliances including LCD TVs, which are expected to have an initial annual capacity of 500,000 units and will be future expanded to one million units by 2008.
